One day we decided that it would be wonderful to have a full day of Yoga & Sound – and so Harmony Sunday was born.
During the day we integrate sessions of yoga asanas & pranayama, guided Vipassana (Insight) meditation and deep relaxation through the sounds of Tibetan singing bowls.
These elements come together to allow us to deeply relax, open up, let go and just be! Revealing an underlying inner peace and harmony. As the mind and heart find rest and quiet, we find ourselves becoming present to and resting in the natural flow of life.
This inner exploration is aided by the embrace of silence and the support of the Sangha (the group). There is an opportunity to share and speak with others at the end of the day.
Like we do for our usual Yoga & Sound sessions, Susie guides the yoga and Henri provides the sound vibrations through his ever-expanding collection of singing bowls, gongs, chimes, aquaphone & other instruments. Both of us guide the meditation practice.
A warm soup and bread is provided for lunch.

“From time to time, to remind ourselves to relax and be peaceful, we may wish to set aside some time for a retreat, a day of mindfulness, when we can walk slowly, smile, drink tea with a friend, enjoy being together as if we are the happiest people on Earth.” Thich Nhat Hanh
