A 5-week course
During this course we will be exploring and cultivating the qualities of the heart that enable us to live more fully, freely and fluidly. We will see how with a sense of ease, kindness, tenderness and appreciation, we discover the sweetness of true happiness. Known as “The Immeasurables” and the “Sublime abodes”, these flavours of love point to the most wholesome, most loving, most affirming way of relating to ourselves and others. Tapping into the capacity of the heart to hold, heal and be moved can be one of the most important and significant steps we take.
The course will include:
- teachings and theory
- enquiries and reflections undertaken in dyads or triads
- guided meditations for each of the heart qualities
- suggestions for home practice & integration into every day life
- opportunities for questions & interaction
The size of the group is limited to foster cohesion & safe space.
Your teacher for this course is Susie Jones who has been practicing meditation since 2003 and facilitating meditation groups since 2011. Since 2012 several hundred people have attended her meditation course A Wholehearted Life, some have written their appreciation here. Susie is a certified Mindfulness teacher from the Mindfulness Training Institute (2020).
Everyone should have equal access to these valuable teachings and techniques. The course is open to people of all social identities & socioeconomic status, including all ethnicities, classes, sexual orientations, gender identities, ages, abilities, religious beliefs and cultures.
