I often organise workshops on Sundays, some previous themes have been: the Breath, the Heart, Patanjali’s 8 limbs of yoga, Stillness, Mindfulness…

Individual sessions

I also offer private lessons. These individual sessions allow us to focus on your specific needs & to follow your own rhythm. I have experience in working with people who don’t have full mobility, and/or who are suffering from disease and illness, or in recovery (e.g. cancer, multiple sclerosis, obesity, depression, anxiety disorders etc.). Poor or limited breathing patterns is often an area of attention and we can work together to recover a natural and deep breath.

All classes are based on my training in the Sivananda Hatha Yoga and Kundalini traditions; and greatly influenced by my Vipassana meditation practice. Sessions include postures, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation.

Sivananda Yoga has been described as the Yoga of Synthesis bringing together different aspects of the ancient Yogic tradition to enable us to re-unite body, mind and spirit. The benefits of Yoga reflect this holistic and multi-faceted approach and address our own specific needs, from balancing the mind and managing stress, to stretching and strengthening the body and improving the functioning of internal organs and systems.

For everybody it provides opportunities for self-discovery, transformation, health and happiness.
