The Buddha encouraged us to question what leads to long term wellbeing and happiness. Through practice, this understanding deepens and broadens. During these days we will cultivate attitudes of goodwill, curiosity and a boundless heart-mind, thus nourishing wellbeing for all beings including ourselves.
The day/s will include silent and guided meditation, teachings, meditation instruction and time for discussion.
The Venue
They will take place at L’Arbre qui Pousse, an ecological farm located in Ottignies. L’Arbre qui Pousse fosters a space for collective growth. It is an open space for connection, inviting us to explore, develop, contribute and grow together. L’Arbre is a tangible demonstration that community life can be open and rooted in the realities shared by all, whilst reinventing the ways in which we produce and consume, live and connect with one another. Although these days are non-residential it is possible to pitch a tent at the farm if you’d like to stay the Saturday night.
About the teacher
Zohar has been practicing meditation in different traditions since 1995. This journey has taken her from the meditation cushion into exploring further ways of expressing truth and love and in 2004 she co-founded SanghaSeva. She now spends most of her time facilitating retreats that offer service as a spiritual path around the world. More info can be found at DependentOrigination.org
